iRobot sues Hoover and other competitors in the market of robotic vacuum cleaners

The company IRobot, known for their robotic vacuum cleaner series Roomba, have filed lawsuits against other companies operating in this market, including the Hoover and Black & Decker. She’s accusing competitors of violating patents.

The lawsuits were filed in Boston and in the number of defendants, in addition to the above-mentioned companies are also mentioned Bobsweep and Bissell Homecare. On approval of iRobot, the company violated several patents related to Autonomous robot cleaners.

Representatives of Hoover, Black & Decker, Bissell and Bobsweep not yet responded to a request from the source to comment on the claim.

At the same time, iRobot filed a lawsuit against Chinese company Shenzhen Silver Star Intelligent Technology, which actually makes robot Hoover and Black & Decker.
