Intel will open a new R & d centre in India
Intel has announced that it intends to invest quite a large sum in the construction of a new R & d centre in India.
Talking about 178 million dollars, which will build a new facility in Bangalore. Reportedly, the new «smart and green» the building will be constructed using the intelligent functions on the basis of the Internet of things and renewable sources of energy.
In particular, Intel says the technology is One High Technology, where each floor is built separately on the ground, and then lifted and installed on the already built up to this floor. This approach allows to reduce the construction period by about 30%. The company also claims that the building will be completely erected by local contractors.
The facility will be built on the territory of an existing Intel campus. The area of the new center will be about 57 600 m2.
