Intel will continue to release single-chip systems by orders from Chinese company Spreadtrum

Intel and Spreadtrum Communications continued collaboration in which Intel acts as a contract manufacturer, produces system on a chip developed by experts Spreadtrum.

According to industry sources, Intel will soon begin production of 14-nanometer SoCs Spreadtrum SC9853, which the Chinese manufacturer expects to submit in the third quarter of this year.

In February was presented the first chip Spreadtrum, designed for production on 14-nanometer technology from Intel. It SC9861G SoC-IA. Its configuration includes eight-core CPU, GPU PowerVR GT7200 and modem LTE Category 7. System-on-chip designed for smartphones middle and upper segment, supports displays with resolution up to 2560 x 1600 pixels and two cameras with resolution up to 26 MP.
