Intel Core i7-8700K compared with the main competitors in several tests

Soon, Intel needs to provide desktop processors Coffee Lake, which will be six in families Core i5 and Core i7 and Core i3 models will get four cores.

Today, the Network appeared the results of some tests of the older CPU Core i7-8700K. This six-core model with a frequency of 3.7-4.7 GHz, 12 MB cache third level and TDP of 95 watts.

Of course, all this synthetic tests and in real-life situations the distribution of forces may be somewhat different, but yet we can assume that the Core i7-8700K will be able to compete with one of the senior Ryzen CPU 7. At this cost, most likely, the new Intel will be a direct competitor Ryzen 7 1800X, as the latter is already possible to buy for $ 430.
