Intel Core i7-8650U lit up in the GFXBench database

That Intel this year will release the processors Core the eighth generation, we have already mentioned, and now appeared another confirmation of this data in the database of the measurement application GFXBench has mentioned the Core i7-8650U for laptops.

Marked on the screenshot, the CPU is unlikely to impress, but here we must note two things. First: most likely this is the base frequency, supports Intel Turbo Boost technology will provide decent gains. Second: Core i7-8650U may be a Quad that will compensate for its relatively low frequency compared to the now current processors Kaby Lake and Skylake. But the presence of integrated graphics core Intel HD Graphics 620 does not allow to think of any significant performance gains on the part of the GPU.

According to preliminary data, Intel Core i7-8650U will be released in the second half of the year and will be manufactured on the same process technology 14 nm FiNFET, which is used to produce CPU Kaby Lake.
