Industrial production of Greece has reached the lowest level since mid-2016
According to data released by the Greek statistical office, industrial production in Greece declined at the fastest pace in more than a year in September.
Industrial production seasonally adjusted decreased by 3.4% in September relative increase of 2.9% reported in August. The rate of fall was the strongest in may 2016, when the production decreased by 3.9%.
In annual terms, industrial production growth eased to 2.4% compared to 5.5% in August.
Production in mining industry increased by 15.3% yoy, while production in the manufacturing sector increased by 1.3%. Energy production increased by 4.2%, while the production index in water supply fell by 1.2%.
