In the first quarter of 2017, it is expected a sharp decline in orders for chips for the iPhone 7

According to the publication DigiTimes, referring to manufacturers of analog chips for smartphones iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the volume of orders these accessories in the first quarter of 2017 will be reduced by 20% compared to the fourth quarter of this year .

The source adds that Apple has placed an order for the supply of 50 million analog chips for smartphones iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the third quarter of 2016 and fourth quarter of their volume will drop to 45 million units. The projected volume of supply of chips for the new Apple smartphones in the first quarter is around 35-37 million units.

Previous information has indicated that Apple plans to the end of the year to produce 100 million iPhone 7, not 80-85 million smartphones predicted by analysts.
