In Sharp hope for the first time in four years to show in the annual report net profit
Sharp completed this week stating that it expects to end the current financial year with a net profit. Recall from Japanese companies fiscal year ends March 31.
If the hopes of the Sharp are correct, this will be the first profitable year after four unprofitable.
According to the forecast of the manufacturer, the net profit for the year will amount to 530 million dollars. This value is slightly higher than the average estimate of analysts.
Improvement is partly the result of measures to reduce costs, held by the Taiwanese company Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn), which last year bought 66% stake in Sharp.
