In Compal fear of a shortage of panels for notebooks in the next half

A shortage of LCD panels for TVs has prompted manufacturers to shift production to the production of this product, the result of which became apparent shortage of panels for laptops. Their prices began to rise. This was reported by a source with reference to the President of the company Compal Electronics which is one of the largest contract manufacturers of laptops.

Allegedly, most likely, the producers will raise the price of the laptops, trying to pass rising costs to consumers. As a result, the demand for laptops will diminish.

The demand for laptops began to perk up in this half-year, provoking, in addition to a lack of panels, and even a shortage of memory.
