In 3DMark 11 the Radeon RX Vega essentially bypasses the GeForce GTX 1080

In the database 3DMark appeared, apparently, the first test results of Radeon RX Vega.

For a start, the test adapter is equipped with 8 GB of memory HBM2 with a frequency of 945 MHz. The GPU operated at a frequency of 1630 MHz, which is significantly higher than in the case of Vega, Frontier Edition, Radeon, GPU, which most of the time working under load at a frequency of about 1440 MHz.

Now, in 3DMark 11 Performance AMD has 31 873 points (Graphic Score). For comparison, the GeForce GTX 1080 in the same test gaining only 27 618 points, but the GTX 1080 Ti is still ahead with a score of 38 389 points.

That is, specifically in this test the new AMD is still far ahead of a potential competitor. But, first, we do not know the price you can’t argue about which card will be Nvidia competitor to the Radeon RX Vega, and secondly, the result of just one test is not a measure of performance in General.
