Image sensor Sony IMX294CJK format 4/3 support 4K video with frequency of 120 K/s

Sony introduced the IMX294CJK image sensor type CMOS with reverse exposure. Optical format sensor — 4/3 (size — 21,63 mm diagonal), resolution to 10.71 MP. According to the manufacturer, the sensor is designed for CCTV cameras.

Sensor supports shooting video in 4K resolution (4096 x 2160 pixels) with frame rates up to 120 K/S. In this case the ADC operates in 10-bit mode. By increasing the bit depth to 12 bits, or when you select HDR mode, the maximum frame rate is reduced to 60 K/S. Supported and 14-bit performance. It is possible to work with other resolutions, including binning (summing the charges from adjacent pixels of the matrix), and support for multiple HDR modes.

The sensor 248-pin LGA package is equipped with interfaces SLVS-EC (2,304 Gbit/s per line, eight lines) and MIPI CSI-2 (1,728 GB/s per line, four lines).
