«I’m better than Siri,» says Bixby, reading REP

Today we reported that users of the Samsung Galaxy S8 residing in the territory of South Korea, got the opportunity to give a voice command virtual assistant Bixby.

System Siri for Apple devices, was launched in 2011 and since then it is constantly updated. But the brash newcomer has already said that he is better than Siri.

For starters, it turned out that Bixby he can rap and make a kind of beatbox. For this you need to ask Bixby to do this, of course, in Korean.

In response Bixby will read a few lines that can be translated into Russian like this:

  • «Something that does not change with time

  • Bixby in the rhythm

  • See — that’s not all. You know, when I say

  • Please tell me again, Bixby

  • I rap, sing me a song

  • Keep it deep in your heart, Bixby

  • It doesn’t matter if you can’t spell

  • Please tell me again, Bixby».

In the Korean version of the first letters of each line compose phrase that translates as «I’m better than Siri.»

It will be interesting to see how this and other similar features Bixby will be implemented in other languages.
