Huawei introduced the tablet MateBook E and laptops MateBook X and MateBook D

Last night, Huawei held an official event in Berlin, devoted to expanding the range of portable computers: it is at once joined three models MateBook E, MateBook X and MateBook D.

MateBook E is the ideological successor to last year’s tablet MateBook. The novelty has retained a compact format (the display has not changed – it’s still IPS a diagonal of 12 inches and a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels), but have put on a little performance. In particular, it now uses the Intel Core seventh generation – Core M3-7Y30 (1.0 to 2.6 GHz) or Core i5-7Y54 (1,2-3,2 GHz) to choose from. Memory range 4-8 GB SSD 128, 256 or 512 GB. In comparison with the predecessor, the battery capacity has not changed and 33.7 W·h, and the declared autonomy is 9 hours.

MateBook E will be available in gray and Golden colors. The price of the basic version in Europe is 1000 euros, flagship – 1300 euros. The mass and thickness of the device is 640 grams and 6.9 mm, respectively, weight of the tablet along with the keyboard is 1.1 kg. accessories Huawei will offer an electronic pen that can recognize up to 2048 degrees of depression, and a wireless mouse.

Huawei MateBook X is a full-fledged laptop, it is also quite compact: it has a IPS screen diagonal of 13 inches 2160 x 1440 pixels with a narrow part of the screen. According to the developers, the screen is 88% of the area of the cover.

The device uses Intel Core i5-7200U (2,5-3,1 GHz) and Core i7-7500U (2,7-3,5 GHz), the maximum amount of RAM is 8 GB SSD 256 or 512 GB. Huawei has given MateBook X rechargeable battery with a capacity of 41.4 kWh (the autonomy of the device on a full charge is up to 10 hours), fingerprint sensor and Gorilla glass protecting the screen.

MateBook X is the weight of 1.05 kg and a thickness of 12.5 mm. Colour options in this model, three (gray, gold, and pink), and the prices are in the range from 1400 to 1700 euros.

Finally, model D represents MateBook laptop, classic size: it uses a screen diagonal of 15.6 inch with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Processors – the same Core i5-7200U or Core i7-7500U, RAM – 4, 8 or 16 GB. The device is equipped with as SSD (128, 256 or 512 GB) and a HDD 500 GB or 1 TB. Optionally will be offered a discrete graphics card Nvidia GeForce 940MX.

MateBook D weight – 1.9 kg, and the cost – from 800 to 1000 euros. Color options have MateBook D three: gold, gray and blue.
