HP recalls another 101,000 laptop batteries in connection with the risk of fire
HP has expanded the program review Li-ion rechargeable battery, introduced last summer. It is still about the batteries, which are equipped with mobile computers HP Compaq, HP ProBook, HP PAVILION, Compaq Presario and HP Pavilion, but now the exchange are subject to the batteries sold in the period from March 2013 to October 2016 as part of the package and sold separately.
The original opinion was subject to approximately 41 000 cells. The expanded list includes 101 000 batteries.
Since the operation of removable battery associated with the risk of overheating and fire, the manufacturer encourages users to re-check the battery and immediately stop their operation if it turns out that the battery belongs to the party which starts with 6BZLU, 6CGFK, 6CGFQ, 6CZMB, 6DEMA, 6DEMH, 6DGAL or 6EBVA.
