Helio P25 MediaTek SoC designed for smartphones with dual camera
MediaTek, back in September of last year announced its plans to release a system on a chip Helio P25, the details of which were published this week.
MediaTek Helio P25 will support camera resolutions up to 24 Megapixels, and a dual camera with two image sensors with a resolution of 13 megapixels. In addition, the SOC will support HDR, will reduce the amount of noise in the pictures and observe the effect of the background blur in real-time.
The composition of the MediaTek Helio P25 will include four Cortex-A53 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz and another four of the same core, which can operate at frequencies up to 2.5 GHz. As the GPU will be Mali-T880, MP2, clocked at 900 MHz.
Helio P25 supports up to 6 GB of RAM LPDDR4X, and its power consumption reduced by 25% compared to the predecessor. Also reduced heat.
