Hasselblad announces the release of two more models of the XCD series lenses

Hasselblad announced the release of two models of the XCD series lenses. Recall that this series consists of lenses with Central shutter for mirrorless medium format camera Hasselblad X1D. The addition of two new lenses will increase the number of models in the series to nine.

The first of the new products — XCD 135mm F2.8. This lens is equipped with a 1.7 x teleconverter, which increases focal length to 230 mm and a price of reducing the maximum aperture to F/4.8.

The focal length of the second lens is 80 mm. maximum aperture the manufacturer does not name, limited to promise that she will be more than any other lens Hasselblad in the history of the brand.

Simultaneously, the manufacturer confirmed the maximum aperture of the previously announced series lenses XCD. In the case of model XCD 21mm it will be equal to F/4.0, zoom XCD 35-75mm will open to F/3.5 to 4.5 and a maximum aperture model XCD will be 65mm F/2.8.

All new lenses XCD, XCD except the 80mm, should be released in the first half of 2018, and the model XCD 80mm in the second.
