Harman shareholders further agreed not to sue the company’s management

In January of this year a group of shareholders Harman International filed a lawsuit against the Executive Director and President of the company was Paliwal Dinesh (Dinesh Paliwal) and other members of the Board of Directors.

The shareholders felt that the decision of the management of Harman International about how to sell the South Korean giant in the face of Samsung Electronics was signed without considering the interests of shareholders. Director’s composition Harman accused that they actually were not looking for other buyers, choosing initially to Samsung.

Today it became known that after seven months of court hearings, a class action was left without consideration. The shareholders, having analyzed the situation, realized that $ 8 billion that Samsung paid for Harman, are a pretty good amount.

Total court costs amounted to 195 thousand dollars.

As it became known, Samsung will start selling Harman products in their stores.
