Google will stop giving priority to their service purchases in the search results

Google will treat competing services purchases as his own by placing advertising in search results. This step the company is taking to fulfill the recommendations of the European Commission, who found in the activities of Google of violation of the Antimonopoly law. In other words, Google is on assignment to competitors to avoid new penalties. We will remind, in June, Google was already fined in Europe over anti-competitive behavior and abuse of dominant position on the market. The total penalty amount reached 2.4 billion euros.

In addition to the fine, Google was ordered to alter business practices in time to September 28. Otherwise the company was waiting for a new penalty of up to 5% of its average receipts for the day, not only in Europe but throughout the world.
