The head of Google Play in Asia-Pacific region James Sanders (James Sanders) said that Google Play is the largest platform for mobile applications worldwide.

Earlier it was reported that last year Google Play had downloaded and installed 82 billion apps, while in 2015 the figure was 65 billion apps. He also added that in 2016, the number of users who pay for content has increased by 30%.



James Sanders added that Google Play supports credit card payments in over 135 countries, and supports Apple pay your phone bill, working with 140 operators in 55 countries.
