Google opens virtual reality platform Daydream for all developers

Introduced by Google last year, the platform of virtual reality Daydream was a development of the Google Cardboard. It still relies on the use of a smartphone screen, but includes an optimized version of the Android OS N, and the controller.

The recent CES showed that some smartphone manufacturers have already expressed interest in the development, in collaboration with Google to ensure compatibility of their devices with Daydream. As it became known this week, the developer took the next step by opening a platform for all app builders. Of course, to get into the directory to Daydream, to pass a test for compliance with certain requirements. In particular, it is mandatory to use a controller Daydream.
