G. Skill introduced DDR4-3333 with reduced delays
The company G. Skill introduced at IDF 2016 new sets of memory DDR4-3333, sharpened on the platform Intel Broadwell-E. Although the modules with such frequency is present in the range of G. Skill for two years, this time the company has paid attention to other characteristics: volume and delays.
It is no secret that hold your RAM with each new generation of memory permanently grows: ten years ago, great value was considered to be 2-2-2-5, now it is 13-13-13-33 the Trident Z set DDR4-3333 volume of 64 GB scored eight bars. A couple of years ago, the modules of this frequency showed a delay 16-16-16-36 so that progress in this area.
Also presented updates on in families of modules G. Skill Ripjaws Z and Trident (standard size SO-DIMM). In the first case, the volume of sets made up of 128 GB, it also recruited eight straps, but the timings slightly increased to 14-14-14-34. In the second case, the total capacity of 32 GB demanded only two plates, and the delay was 16-18-18-43. All new products are based on chips of Samsung RAM and operate at a voltage of 1.35 V.
