Fujitsu releases FRAM memory automotive electronics
The company Fujitus introduced chip nonvolatile ferroelectric memory with random access (FRAM), the designation MB85RS256TY. A key feature of the product density 256 Kbps is of continued operation at temperatures from -40 °C to 125 °C. Even at a constant temperature of 85 °C the contents of the memory will be kept for ten years. This allows you to use MB85RS256TY in automotive electronics.
The advantages of FRAM memory include high speed access and a large number of write cycles (1013). Fields of application include monitoring applications and data analysis in cars. Memory MB85RS256TY equipped with an SPI interface and operates at supply voltage of 1.8 to 3.6 V. certification of compliance with the requirements of the AEC-Q100 requirements element base of automotive electronics, the manufacturer expects to complete by July 2017.
