Fujifilm has announced two new lens for the lens mount X-Mount

Fujifilm Corporation announced the update plan of the issue of interchangeable lenses for the lens mount X-Mount, designed for digital cameras of the x series.

XF8-16mmF2.8 R LM WR is an ultra-wide angle zoom lens with a focal length of 12-24 mm equivalent (in 35 mm equivalent) and a maximum aperture of F/2.8. This lens suitable for shooting dynamic landscapes, night scenery and architecture. Together with the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR and XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR Fujifilm XF lenses with an aperture of F/2.8 will cover the full range of common shooting distances (Wide/ Standard/ Telephoto).



XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR is a telephoto fixed lens with a focal length equivalent to 305 mm (35mm equivalent) and maximum aperture of F/2.0. This lens suitable for shooting sports, nature or birds. Both existing teleconverters XF1.4X TC WR and XF2.0X TC WR compatible, so it can be used as an ultra-telephoto lens.

Date of issue of the MK series lenses for the X Mount» postponed to 2018, not 2017 as previously reported.
