From the AMD website disappeared description Radeon 540, but now there you can find information about the adapters Radeon Radeon 530 and 520

Yesterday, AMD has introduced the Radeon RX 500. And if initially we knew about the four models, in the end, I got six, although with certain reservations. Talking about the «extra» cards Radeon Radeon RX 540 and 540 have identical parameters, although for some reason the increased memory bandwidth was specified different.

Interestingly, at that time, neither on the AMD website, no press release, no information about these cards were not what we assumed they focused on the OEM segment. Instead, these little cards were on the website on the page of the RX adapter 550.

But at night they disappeared. Instead, card Radeon RX 540 appeared on AMD’s official website in the section of the line of Radeon RX 500. There are specified the same parameters that we listed yesterday, with the clarification that the card can be equipped with 2 or 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. In addition, it shows that the adapter is focused on the OEM segment, and it is based on GPU with the GCN architecture of the fourth generation, that is, the GPU Polaris! But no data on Radeon 540 no.

It becomes even more interesting, if you look on the same site AMD in the other section listing table of the video card company. Moreover, access to this section is not so simple.

In this section, we again see no mention of Radeon RX 540, but there are accelerators Radeon Radeon 530 and 520, which yesterday, perhaps, has not a single resource! It should be noted that these cards are present in first-mentioned section, but below where they once may not be noticed.

530 is equipped with a Radeon GPU with 320 or 384 stream processors. Core frequency can reach to 1024 MHz, and 1 or 2 GB of memory can work at different frequencies, as is the use of DDR3 and GDDR5. It is also worth noting that the graphic processor is built on the GCN architecture of the third, that is the previous generation.

Radeon 520 and even uses GPU GCN architecture the first generation with 320 stream processors! Core frequency can reach 1030 MHz, and 1 or 2 GB of GDDR5 memory (here for some reason DDR3 is not provided) can operate at a frequency of 4500 MHz. By the way, the memory bus width in both maps is 64 bits.

Data adapters also focused on the OEM space, so most people with them will never encounter.
