Frequency 16-core AMD processor will be above 3 GHz

A few days ago we reported that 16-core AMD processor, the appearance of which is expected within six months, will work at frequencies of 2.4-2.8 GHz with a TDP of 150 watts.

However, there is an alternative view. A new source reports that, in fact, already engineering samples operate at frequencies of 3.1-3.6 GHz at power level of 180 watts. It is possible that the serial instance of the base frequency will be even higher.

But even if it ultimately will remain at the same level, it will be impressive. Of course, 16-core processor is absolutely not necessary to the average user, but this option Ryzen may well be for many, the alternative back-end solutions to younger families.
