France came in second place in Europe by the number of robots used in the automotive industry

Organization International Federation of Robotics (IFR) published a report in 2016 on the use of robots.

According to the IFR, France came in second place in Europe by the number of robots used in the automotive industry. During the year the number of robots in this branch of French industry increased by 22% and reached to 1400 pieces. Analysts called IFR automotive sector one of the engines of economic modernization of France: now it to 10 000 workers have 940 robots. The first place is Germany, where 10,000 workers have 1147 robots.

The top five for this indicator also included Slovakia, Spain and Italy.
