Foxconn investment in the United States may exceed $ 10 billion and not limited to one plant

That Foxconn will build a factory in the United States, became known at the beginning of the year. For a long time all the rumors revolved around figures at $ 7 billion.

According to the source, the President of Foxconn Terry GU (Terry Gou) has announced its intention to invest in construction of facilities in the United States 10 billion and even more.

The bulk of these investments — those 7 billion will be spent on the construction of a factory for the production of mobile devices. Apparently, the main objective of this plant will be in production for Apple. GU called seven States that are currently considered for investment. This is Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Texas.

In addition, in one of these States will be built a huge factory, Foxconn intends to invest several billion dollars for some other purpose. Among them are mentioned the production of displays, packaging, semiconductors and cloud technologies. In sum, Foxconn is likely to create in the US more than 10,000 new jobs.
