Foxconn and TSMC will work together to try to buy Toshiba Memory

According to the source, referring to the publication Liberty Times, a Taiwanese company TSMC and Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) have combined their efforts in the acquisition of shares of Toshiba Memory. Representatives of the partners is already in Japan preparing for filing of documents for auction, the first round of which will start on March 29.

As Foxconn and TSMC are aware of the prospects of demand for means of storing information associated with the video distribution 8K.

It is expected that Foxconn and TSMC together will be able to challenge the leading position of the South Korean company Samsung Electronics in the market of flash memory.
