Financial indicators of Texas Instruments exceeded analysts ‘ expectations
Company Texas Instruments, one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers, reported for the fourth quarter of 2016 financial year and the whole year.
Revenue for the quarter amounted to 3,414 billion, having increased by 5%. Operating profit rose 15% to 1,319 billion, and net profit increased by 25% to 1,047 billion.
For the whole year, the manufacturer was rescued 13,37 billion dollars, a slight increase in the indicator. Operating profit increased by 12% and amounted to 4.8 billion dollars. Annual net income grew from 2,986 billion in 2015 to 3,595 billion in the 2016 financial year.
