Earlier it was reported that because of the delays, it was halted construction of the plant, which produced electric cars Faraday Future. The resumption of construction is planned in early 2017.
In mid-January we reported that LeEco has raised $2.2 billion investment. Additionally was allocated a certain amount of money which will be spent on the further development and production of Future electric vehicle Faraday FF91. Now it became known that Faraday Future had significantly curb the ambitions and to adjust their plans.
First, the area of the plant is not 278 thousand m2, as originally planned, and only 60 thousand m2. And secondly, in the foreseeable future, the company plans to release only two models of electric vehicles instead of the previously planned seven.
The second electric car should be FF 81, which is positioned as a direct competitor to Tesla Model X.
