Essential modular smartphone can get SoC Snapdragon 835 and 4 GB of RAM
Yesterday we reported that the Creator of the operating system Android Andy Rubin (Andy Rubin) founded the company Essential Products which works on various projects, in particular, on the modular smartphone.
Some time ago in the database of the test package Geekbench appeared a device called the Essential FIH-PM1. Then nobody knew, what kind of device it is, however, after emergence of information on Essential and its first product, the situation began to clear up.
The tested device has been equipped with the latest single-chip system Snapdragon 835, 4 GB of RAM and running the Android operating system 7.0 Nougat.
The acronym FIH in the model’s name may indicate the name of Foxconn International Holdings, it confirms rumors about who will collect the smartphone.
The device should be released in the middle of this year.
