Driver’s license in India can now replace the smartphone
On his page on the social network Twitter, the Minister of information technology of India, Ravi Shankar Prasad (Ravi Shankar Prasad) said that in this country drivers can show the traffic police smartphone instead of a driver’s license.
It uses a special cloud storage DigiLocker, you can download copies of driving license and registration certificate of the car. Then the drivers should install on your smartphone the app DigiLocker and link it with your phone number. The service began work today, 7 September.
Sometimes, drivers forget the relevant documents at home, but for now this is not a problem because digital copies have become to be considered the same valid as original documents. Without a smartphone today not leave the house almost no one, so a driving licence will always be with the drivers.
Service DigiLocker was launched in India last year, it allows you to store digital copies of diplomas and various documents for ID.
