DRAMeXchange analysts predict a rise in prices for DRAM in the third quarter by 5%

The average price of DRAM chips in the third quarter will be 5% higher than in the second. This forecast gives analysts DRAMeXchange, on the basis of the information about insufficient supplies.

Customers have already started negotiations with suppliers on deliveries in the third quarter. As demand continues to exceed supply, prices rise.

Analysts note that a variety of DRAM in recent years has increased. If earlier it was dominated by two types of memory for PCs and mobile devices, but now large segments of the steel chips for automotive electronics, accelerators, and servers. This is to some extent is a factor of stabilization of prices. However, if we talk about server memory DRAM in the third quarter in this segment is expected to increase by 3-5%.
