Directa Plus Grafylon 3D is the first material for 3D printing, which includes graphene
Company Directa Plus has provided material for 3D printing by the method of layer-by-layer fused deposition modeling, developed in cooperation with the company Filoalfa, a division of Ciceri de Mondel. The material is called Grafylon 3D. It is unusual in that it consists of graphene. Or in the more cautious wording of the manufacturer, «component based on graphene» Graphene Plus.
Allegedly Grafylon 3D is the first material for 3D printing, which includes graphene. The basis material is PLA plastic. According to the manufacturer, graphene additive improves the appearance of the manufactured products, creating a unique aesthetic effect. In addition, increasing the conductivity of the products, the modulus of elasticity increased by 34%, tensile strength by 23%, the coefficient of elasticity by 28%.
The material is suitable for printers with a temperature of the printing node 170°C-220°C. Bobbin filament diameter 1.75 mm weight 700 g is 39 euros. Sales have already begun.
