Dell has updated the Inspiron 5000 laptops

Dell continues to gradually transfer their mobile computers on Intel eighth generation. At the end of Aug CPU Kaby Lake-R received laptops XPS 13, and now has come the turn to laptops series Inspiron 5000.

Basic CPU for Dell Inspiron 5000 laptops are dual-core Celeron and Pentium 3865U 4415U, but in older versions already available Quad-core Core i5-8250U (range: 1.6-3.4 GHz) and i7-8550U (1.8 and 4.0 GHz). Along with the new CPU laptops have received a new discrete graphics card: AMD Radeon 530 with 2 or 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. Finally, another improvement is the advent of USB 3.1 Type – C.

Both models (the series is comprised of two, with a screen diagonal of 15.6 and 17.3 inches) can be equipped with optical drives and screens Full HD resolution. The maximum memory is 16 GB, the capacity of a standard battery – 42 W·h

Updated laptops will go on sale on 3 October. The cost of the base version of the Inspiron 15 5000 is $550, the Inspiron 17 5000 – $700.
