DDR4 for the first time managed to overclock to a frequency of 5500 MHz

Overclocking memory may not be as interesting as overclocking the CPU or graphics cards, but when we talk about the new record, the case takes a different turn.

A well-known overclocker with pseudonym Toppc, who has repeatedly distinguished records in overclocking RAM, managed to get to work module RGB TridentZ G. Skill DDR4 8 GB at frequency of 2750 MHz. That is, the effective frequency was 5500 MHz!

Enthusiast using the motherboard MSI Gaming X299 Pro Carbon AC and Intel Core i7-7740K. The CPU and the memory module was cooled with liquid nitrogen.
