D-Wave starts sales of quantum computers D-Wave 2000Q named first customer
As expected, D-Wave Systems, specializing in the development of quantum computers and software, announced the commercial availability of D-Wave system 2000Q.
At the same time the name of the first buyer D-Wave 2000Q. Quantum computer company acquired Temporal Defense Systems dealing with information security.
As stated, the computer D-Wave 2000Q configuration that includes 2,000 qubits, able to tackle tasks that are intractable with conventional computers due to high performance requirements. The developers claim that in real applications D-Wave 2000Q superior to the classic servers in the 1,000-10,000 times. Speech, in particular, applications that implement algorithms for deep learning.
Shipping computers D-Wave 2000Q should begin in this quarter.
