CPU cooler Alpenföhn Ben Nevis Advanced became bigger, got a new fan and kept the element of Shock Killer Pole

The company Alpenföhn have expanded the range of CPU cooling systems cooling Advanced Ben Nevis. This is a modification of the model of Ben Nevis, but unlike most other manufacturers, Alpenföhn have not only changed color and the fan.

The new version is larger and has more heat pipes. In fact, it’s a different model. But the nuances of naming us little interest. We are interested in what Ben Nevis Advanced has dimensions of 130 x 74 x 159 mm weight 630 g. It is designed for processors with a TDP of 150 watts.

Design of new items includes four six-millimeter heat pipes, aluminum radiator and 130-millimeter fan. The latter rotates at a speed of 500-1500 rpm, creating air flow to 95.4 m3/h at maximum noise level of 25.8 dB.

A distinctive feature of the original model, the metal rod Shock Killer Pole, remained in place. This subassembly is intended to give additional rigidity to reduce vibration and keep the device during transport. The manufacturer offers Ben Nevis Advanced as in a normal performance, and with custom lighting. The cost of new items is about 28 euros.
