Consumer night vision goggles eMagin BlazeTorch costs $999

The company eMagin, specializing in microdisplay and wearable electronic devices, announced consumer night vision device BlazeTorch.

The cost of new items, already available for pre-order, is $999.

For this amount the buyer receives a device that uses proprietary microdisplay eMagin OLED resolution SXGA (1280 x 1024 pixels). As can be seen in the illustrations, the design of the device allows to remove the display module upwards, opening up the field of view.

The device enables video recording to memory card format SD with capacity up to 128 GB. Videos can be uploaded to the portal www.blazethenight.com and the social network.

The device includes an integrated source of infrared light. The battery life BlazeTorch — 3 hours.
