Compare PCB reference 3D-card Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and Nvidia Titan X Pascal showed minimal differences

The source has published a comparison of the reference PCB of 3D-card Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and Titan X Nvidia Pascal.

The comparison showed that the differences between the boards are small. It is to be expected, since both models are built on the same GPU GP102, although in different versions.

One of the differences is that the motherboard GTX 1080 Ti 11 installed memory chips and motherboard Titan X Pascal — 12. Memory bus GTX 1080 Ti respectively, but the rate is slightly higher (11 Gbit/s per line to 10 Gbps).

Another difference between the GTX 1080 Ti — voltage regulators dual transistors. In fact, it is possible to double the number of transistors MOSFET, reducing the load on each of them. As a result, the temperature of the controllers decreased.

In addition to the PCB, the GTX 1080 Ti is characterized by a cooling system design which includes the vaporization chamber. In addition, removing the DVI connector, the designers were able to increase the total area of the ventilation slots on the bracket.
