Company Pearl released Pearl RearVision system, went bankrupt

Last fall we wrote about the company Pearl, founders of which were former Apple employees. The first product was the Pearl RearVision wireless rearview system for vehicles, which includes two cameras with a viewing angle of 175°. One camera module is optimized to work in the daytime, the second has a high sensitivity at night.

The kit was offered at a price of $ 500, but as it became known, the popularity he enjoyed. Moreover, the percentage of defects and breakdowns were simply prohibitive, because of what the Pearl company went bankrupt and was forced to close.

Sources said that Pearl got a few proposals, however, the founders decided to close the company and go our separate ways.
