To ensure high transparency managed by the new structure of the screen that does not have the polarizing and color filters. In displays with these filters JDI managed to have the transparency of only 10-30%.
Shown four-inch prototype has a resolution of 300 x 300 pixels. These options correspond density of 117 PPI.
Areas of application of such panels in JDI are called cars, where the screen can be embedded, for example, in the rear view mirror, and Windows. A window or a mirror combined with a transparent display, well suited for applications of augmented or mixed reality.
