Coffee table with built-in Pong game is offered for $1100

Fans of one of the first computer games in history, Pong, released in 1972, was licensed by Atari for release of coffee table that should give tribute to the legendary arcade game.

A campaign to raise funds on Kickstarter ends in three days, however, the required amount of 250 thousand dollars has already been collected. Those who supported the developers will get their desks in December of this year. The price is 1100 dollars.

It is noteworthy that the developers used a non-electronic display, electric motors, magnetic field and physical «racket» run by the players, beating a square ping-pong ball.

The table is equipped with USB connectors for charging electronic devices, and speakers, which allow to reproduce not only sounds classic games, but also music from your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Inactive controls are hidden behind panels below the table to perform their second function.
