Chinese manufacturers of smartphones for the year has increased its sales by 18.6%
According to Digitimes Research, smartphone manufacturers from China continue to increase sales volumes. So, at the end of the third quarter, Chinese companies sold 168 million smartphones, which is 10.6% more than in the previous quarter and 18.6% higher than a year ago.
The supply of Chinese companies in foreign markets were up, respectively 15.5% and 16.2%, reaching 72.7 per million vehicles.
The source reports that one of the factors of growth are subsidies to the three largest mobile operators, China user to transition to a fourth generation network.
The five largest Chinese manufacturers include Huawei, Oppo, BBK (Vivo), Xiaomi and TCL. The share of these companies accounted for 55% of quarterly sales. Moreover, 45% of sales accounted for only on the first three companies.
Regarding the current quarter, analysts expect sales at the level of 184 million smartphones.
