Card high precision for self-driving cars created by TomTom, covers 19 countries of Europe

A well-known manufacturer of navigation and electronic charts announced the completion of the development of high-resolution maps that show the roads of Western Europe. Only cards dealt 175 000 km of roads in 19 countries: France, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and San Marino.

Cards will be available in two products TomTom HD Map and RoadDNA for the use of self-driving cars. According to the manufacturer, partners and customers will now be able to test TomTom HD Map and RoadDNA in various conditions.

In March this year, TomTom has completed the development of maps HD Map, which includes all highways of the United States (with a total length of 185 000 km).
