Canon introduced SLR camera EOS 800D (Rebel T7i) and EOS 77D
Along with mirrorless camera EOS M6 Canon presented yesterday a couple SLR cameras: EOS 800D (in the US it’s called the Rebel T7i, and in Japan — Kiss X9i) and EOS 77D (aka EOS 9000D). The model is equipped with a sensor APS-C resolution of 24.2 megapixels and focusing system Dual Pixel CMOS AF with 45 cross points (77D provided EOS light meter with RGB sensor-IR resolution 7560 pixels).
Both cameras feature a Digic 7 processors, allow for burst shooting at a speed of 6 fps and record Full HD videos with frame rate of 60 fps. the available Range sensitivity — ISO 100-25600 (expandable to 51200), the range of shutter speed between 30 s and 1/4000 s.
Another of the common — swivel 3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1 040 000 pixels, built-in adapter Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, the presence of HDMI ports and USB 2.0.
Dimensions of new products are the same — 131 x 100 x 76 mm, but the weight is a little different: EOS 77D — 540 grams, EOS 800D — 532 grams. Autonomy, measured by the method of CIPA equals 600 images in both cases.
European sales of both cameras will start in April. The cost model EOS 77D is 900 euros, EOS 800D — 850 euros.
Simultaneously with these cameras Canon introduced remote control BR-E1, uses the wireless Bluetooth interface, and the EF-S 18-55mm F4-5.6 IS STM, which was about 20% less lens 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM.
And the lens, and the remote control will be available also in April. The cost of the first 250€, the second € 50.
