But Apple and Xiaomi in China have fallen by 32% and 38% respectively
According to recent International Data Corps (IDC), smartphone shipments of Xiaomi in China in the second quarter of this year amounted to 10.5 million units.
During the same period a year earlier, the company shipped at home, 17.1 million smartphones, so the supply drop for the last year amounted to more than 38%.
Today Xiaomi ranks fourth in China, and the leader is Huawei. Second and third places went to Oppo and Vivo, respectively. Oppo shipments increased by 124%, Vivo — almost 75%. The sales of smartphones Apple iPhone for the year decreased by 32%, and the company moved to the fifth place.
IDC notes that the success of Huawei and Oppo is due to different factors: first successful emphasis on the cooperation with Leica, the second base a proprietary fast charging.
