Britain will build a marine wind power plant of 1800 MW
According to sources, the UK will build the largest marine (offshore) wind power station. The object is called Hornsea Project Two.
The estimated capacity of wind farm is 1,800 MW, enough to provide electricity to about 1.8 million households all year round. Hornsea Project Two will be located 90 km from the coast of Grimsby, and will consist of around 300 turbines with a height of 180 m each.
In General, the UK expects to receive up to 10% of all electricity thanks to the sea power plants by 2020. The project Hornsea Project Two is estimated at £6 billion and create a 1960 jobs in the construction process and 580 after the launch of the facility.
