Boeing expects to save 2-3 million dollars on each 787 Dreamliner aircraft, producing titanium parts for it by 3D-printing

Boeing appealed to the Norwegian company Norsk Titanium AS with the order for production of titanium components of aircraft design the 787 Dreamliner by 3D-printing. Allegedly, this will save 2-3 million dollars for each instance of the aircraft.
