BOE showed foldable AMOLED displays

Not so long ago we reported that the company BOE was the first Chinese manufacturer who is ready to begin shipment of curved OLED panels.

BOE also introduced the production line in Chengdu where will be created a flexible AMOLED panel. This is the second plant in the world in the production of such products, and the first, which is located in China.

Sources report that the acquisition of these products BOE already interested in leading Chinese smartphone makers including Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, etc.

During the presentation of the BOE, the company showed some working prototypes of flexible AMOLED panels, among which were the screens with an aspect ratio of 18:9, thin hanging panels and screens having a cutout in the upper part, like the display of the iPhone X.

It is obvious that in coming years the situation on the world market AMOLED, where Samsung dominates today, needs much change.
